Silent Pool Distillers Colorado High CBD Gin is named for the epic altitude of the Colorado Rockies where we source our CBD. 

The premium quality CBD oil that we use is amongst the world’s best, and is sourced from hemp grown in the clean air and rich, fertile soil of the Rockies in Colorado, USA. The altitude in Colorado is about a mile higher than sea level, which is why the state's capital Denver, has earned the moniker the Mile High City. This altitude combined with the sunny climate and water from the mountains, creates the perfect growing conditions for Hemp which is why it is classed as the best in the world!

We set out to create a CBD gin without compromise that goes above and beyond in terms of user experience and benefit. That’s why each bottle contains a generous 200mg of the finest quality Coloradan CBD - sufficient to produce a noticeable therapeutic effect with every serve. HOW DOES CBD WORK?

Hemp is a type of cannabis plant and it is brimming with CBD, also known as Cannabidiol. Our bodies also produce cannabinoids as a result of our natural endo-cannabinoid system (ECS), a network of chemicals and receptors that influence and maintain our general health and wellbeing. This includes the body’s pain responses, mood, appetite, sleep, recovery from inflammation and exertion, energy levels and much more. The ECS seems to exist solely for the purpose of helping the body’s various systems achieve homeostasis: that is, optimal balance and performance.

Cannabinoids like CBD bind to the endocannabinoid receptors, activating and promoting their effects upon the body and effectively encouraging your ECS to promote, support and maintain a multitude of functions that have a tangible impact upon our wellbeing.

WILL IT MAKE ME HIGH?

Both hemp and marijuana are cannabis plants. Marijuana is rich in THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the psychoactive compound known for getting the user ‘high’. Hemp contains cannabidiol which does not affect the user cognitively in any way but does offer many other benefits including a deep sense of relaxation and well being.

Our CBD is completely free of THC - so it cannot make you high, but it can make you feel very, very good indeed.
