Silent Pool Gin launches the Summer Terrace at the Ivy Cobham Brasserie
|To celebrate the summer, and all things floral, we’ve partnered up with The Ivy Cobham Brasserie to launch a beautifully themed Silent Pool Gin summer terrace.|
Taking inspiration from our garden at the Chelsea Flower Show, whilst of course paying homage to our Silent Pool Gin colours, the restaurant’s terrace has been decorated with a series of colourful yellow and blue blooms. Complete with Silent Pool Gin tea light holders and fairy lights, this quintessentially English garden is a wonderful al fresco dining space to be enjoyed by guests throughout the summer months.
Those dining at The Ivy Cobham Brasserie will be able to enjoy a series of floral inspired cocktails including the ‘Silent Sparkle’ & the ‘Chamomile Garden’. Served in an elegant champagne flute, the ‘Silent Sparkle’ mixes Silent Pool Gin with ginger & lemongrass cordial and a splash of lime juice, topped off with The Ivy’s very own Champagne and elegantly garnished with a sprig of dried lavender. Inspired by the botanicals used within our gin, the ‘Chamomile Garden’ mixes Silent Pool Gin with sweet honey water and a splash of Fever Tree Indian tonic water, enhanced with a spritz of Chamomile aromatics. Served in our beautiful Copa glasses, this refreshing cocktail is garnished with a kaffir lime leaf and orange.
The launch event held on the 1st of June, saw the official opening of Cobham’s finest summer terrace. Whilst listening to a trio of jazz musicians, guests enjoyed endless cocktails and canapes served by the Brasserie staff. Amongst the invitees were television presenters, Anthea Turner and Andrea McLean, along with EastEnders’s soap star Charlie Brooks, all happily sipping on their Silent Pool Gin drinks. The sunshine even made an appearance allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful views overlooking the river - the perfect start to a British summer!
James Storey, General Manager at The Ivy Cobham Brasserie says: "I'm very excited to reveal our summer terrace to locals, regular guests and visitors alike. We're delighted to be collaborating with local distillery, Silent Pool Gin, and are looking forward to what the summer months have in store.”
The Ivy Cobham Brasserie is accessible and relaxed, holding back a number of tables for walk-ins, allowing locals to drop in throughout the day.
Be sure to enjoy the limited-edition cocktails in the Silent Pool Gin garden this summer!
