A new and longer 12km hiking route from Gomshall to Silent Pool Distillery via Shere and back, with access from the train station.
Join us walking the countryside around Silent Pool in the Surrey Hills, tour the world-renowned distillery and enjoy seasonal samples of locally produced gin.
Simone is a local tour guide and has teamed up with Silent Pool Gin Distillery to bring you a combination of a gorgeous country walk and a Silent Pool Gin tasting experience, only a train ride from London and surroundings.
The 7.5mile /12km country circular walk starts at Gomshall Train station and first leads to Shere Village and then the stunning Albury Estate passing through forest, a mansion, idyllic streams and a Saxon church.
After the first 4 miles, we will visit the Silent Pool Gin Distillery and its legendary Silent Pool, and receive a mini private tour with gin tasting.
The Silent Pool shop will be available to you to treat yourselves with Silent Pool gifts. (You have to carry this in your backpacks)
As part of our collaboration with Silent Pool Gin, participants of this walk receive:

Returning via orchards and rolling fields with some enchanting views over the North Downs, we’ll walk through the beautiful, quintessential English village of Shere.

Fee: £28.50 Transport is not included in the event fee.
Maximum number: 20 participants in total – over 18s only.
Cancellation Policy - Back on Track
Hikes will be fully refunded if cancellation is made 4 or more days before the event starts.
Cancellations less than 4 days before the event starts are considered late cancellations and are not refunded.
You can however book onto any other Back on Track event within 6 months.
No shows without cancellations cannot not be refunded or rebooked.
