Our Botanicals

Locally Inspired Ingredients

They sourced local ingredients, exotic botanicals, and experimented with all kinds of recipes – sometimes failing, forever seeking, but always refusing to compromise on quality. Until finally, they created a gin of rare taste and beauty using over 20 botanicals in the distillation process and christening Silent Pool Gin after its place of birth. It’s popularity quickly spread from the local community to now amassing an enviable reputation across the world, winning an abundance of prestigious industry awards.

Floral Elegance

Inspired by the beauty of an English country garden, our floral profile exudes grace and sophistication. Lavender, Chamomile, and Rose delicately entwine, creating a tapestry of aromatic refinement.

Citrus Radiance

A vibrant fusion of Orange, Traditional Lime, and Thai Lime defines our citrus profile. These zesty botanicals infuse the gin with luminous energy, providing a bright counterpoint to its herbal, spicy, and floral dimensions.

Herbal Depth

Silent Pool Gin’s herbal notes deliver a refined complexity, achieved through a meticulous selection of botanicals:

  • Coriander Seed: An elegant warmth with a hint of citrus
  • Vetiver: Earthy sophistication
  • Cardamom: Subtly aromatic, adding depth and intrigue

Spiced Perfection

At the heart of Silent Pool Gin lies the iconic Juniper, elevated by Grains of Paradise and Timur Pepper. These botanicals lend a luxurious warmth and depth, crafting a distinctive sylvan journey for the senses.

Honey

Our most cherished botanical, local honey, is the cornerstone of Silent Pool Gin’s smooth, opulent texture. Harvested sustainably from hives on the Albury estate, this thick, waxy honey is gently warmed to retain its unique richness before being blended into the gin. Its presence creates the velvety, indulgent mouthfeel that defines Silent Pool Gin.
