Dive into the world of Silent Pool Gin on our distillery tour and tasting.

Our distillery’s stunning location, adjacent to the ancient Silent Pool, continually inspires the way we work. Our guide will explain how and why we established the distillery here as well as delving further into the past to explore the fascinating history of gin.

Go behind the scenes to see our copper gin stills and discover our botanicals, and learn about the unique four-stage distillation process and exquisite title attention to detail that creates our range of spirits.

What’s more, you can enjoy sampling our gin throughout the 90 minute experience.

Tour guests receive a 10% discount voucher to use in our distillery shop on a purchase including a 70cl, 1 litre or 1.5 litre bottle from our Silent Pool Gin range (T&Cs apply).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please arrive 15 minutes before your start time to be able to book in with your tour guide.

Tours and experiences begin promptly at the start time so please make sure to arrive before this, as this start time cannot be delayed.

If you are visiting us by car then please park in the main Silent Pool Car Park just off of the A25. This car park is externally operated using ANPR cameras at the entrance and exit. The first hour of parking is complimentary for all visitors to the site but we also offer complimentary parking for the duration of your visit when attending a tour or an experience.

To qualify for this, please enter your car registration into the tablet situated inside the distillery shop. There is no need to make payment first at the machine. Please be aware that the car park can become quite busy, especially at the weekends, so please factor this in when considering your arrival time before your start time.

Please do not wear open toed shoes, high heels or sandals as some of the tour is conducted in production areas. The distillery tour also includes steps which are outside and can be muddy and wet in some weather. Please use the handrail provided and if you have mobility issues, please make us aware ahead of your visit.

We can accommodate wheel chairs and appreciate prior notice, but we cannot accommodate mobility scooters.

Disabled parking spaces outside the distillery courtyard are available with prior arrangement.

Our tours and experiences are for over 18's only. Unfortunately, we cannot allow dogs (including assistance animals) to accompany guests on tours due to strict health and safety regulations in the production buildings.

If you are unable to attend your booking, please contact a member of the team as soon as you can either via email: tours@silentpooldistillers.com or by phone on 01483 229136 and opt for Customer Services (Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm) or the Shop (Weekends and Bank Holidays 10am - 5pm).

Our Terrace Bar is open from 12pm on weekends so why not enjoy a drink before or after your tour or experience. Walk-ins are welcome, but if you would like to book a table ahead of your visit please get in touch with us either via email terracebar@silentpooldistillers.com or by phone (as above) and we will do our best to accommodate this.

Tours are available on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays throughout the year, as well as on selected Bank Holidays.

Booking essential. 18+ only, please bring photo ID if you're lucky enough to look under 25 years old.

Due to insurance and health and safety regulations, children under 18 (including babes in arms) and dogs (including assistance animals) are not permitted inside the working distillery buildings and cannot accompany you on the tour. If you would like to gift a tour or experience for the recipient to book at their leisure, why not purchase an E-Voucher?

We do not offer 'open tickets' as all bookings need to be made and paid for in advance. Please choose the amount for the E-voucher that is needed for your tour or experience (i.e £50 for two distillery tour tickets which are £25 per person) and this will be emailed to you with a code to redeem when making your booking. Any balance left on the E-voucher after a tour or experience booking would be available to redeem towards a purchase in the distillery shop during the experience or towards a purchase online.

Please be aware that although you may gift an E-voucher with a specific experience in mind for the recipient, the E-voucher is just a monetary value that can be redeemed against any experience or a purchase in case the recipient cannot or, doesn’t want to attend the intended experience or we cease to operate an experience at the distillery.
