ALBURY ENGLISH VERMOUTH
Produced by our neighbours at the Albury Vineyard.
A sweet vermouth handcrafted from distilled Sauvignon wine, and blended with Pinot Noir and carefully selected botanical infusions of herbs, spices and citrus peel. Beautifully bitter wormwood aromas are intertwined with dark notes of cacao and coffee, creamy undertones of vanilla, earthy rooibos tea leaves, and sweetness from caramelised Albury honey. Warming spices including cassia bark, orange peel, nutmeg and ginger are underpinned by herbal flavours honeybush leaf, lemon balm and meadowsweet for added complexity.
To serve: For a classic Negroni combine equal measures of Silent Pool Gin, Campari and Albury English Vermouth in a cocktail shaker, with crushed ice. Shake and strain over cubed ice. Garnish with a twist of orange peel.
Store in the fridge once opened and drink within four weeks.
